Q: Will AVS or CV failure cause my transactions to deny?
AVS failure should never cause the transaction itself to fail, but a bad CV may very well cause transactions to fail. It is up to the issuers to determine if the transaction will fail or not based on bad CV. You could have one VISA card that fails, and one VISA card that does not, but both have bad CV. In short, you should _always_ check your CV and AVS response values!
