Main Street announces Monetra® release 7 with Check Verification and Conversion

Gainesville, FL May 5, 2008 Main Street Softworks, Inc, the premier provider of high performance electronic payment processing software, announces the public release of Monetra version 7. Main Street's Monetra® payment server software securely processes credit card, debit card, gift card, and electronic benefit card transactions via retail point-of-sale and eCommerce systems. Electronic check verification and conversion with image upload for the Electronic Clearing House (ECHO) processing platform is one of the most anticipated features of this newly released version.

Introduced in 2001, Monetra® software meets or exceeds all payment card industry (PCI) security requirements.
