Main Street Softworks, Inc. Enhances Monetra® Version 7

GAINESVILLE, FL, January 10, 2011 - Main Street Softworks, Inc. today announced new certifications, features and enhancements to the company's flagship Monetra® Version 7 payment server software product, including updated certifications for First Data “Nashville,” First Data gift cards, Mercury Payment Systems, and new check verification support through Certegy/FNIS. The new features and enhancements are available immediately, and are available to all current Main Street customers under the company's standard software maintenance program.

The new release of the Monetra payment server software also provides optional Enhanced Data (“Level III”) support for Visa and MasterCard purchase card transactions processed via the TSYS and Global Payments platforms. Enhanced Data support enables merchants to qualify for reduced credit card interchange fees by including additional “receipt-level” information when processing purchase card transactions.

Monetra Version 7 is a PA-DSS security-validated middleware/gateway interface software product that securely and reliably processes credit card, debit card, gift card, and electronic benefit card, and check transactions from applications such as point-of-sale and eCommerce systems.
